RACHEL FELL, LMSW, MSEd

I am an experienced and passionate early childhood educator who has worked as a teacher and social worker in diverse school settings. I received my Masters of Social Work from Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work and a Masters in Early Childhood General and Special Education from Bank Street College of Education. I've worked as a Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant, an Early Childhood teacher, a Special Education evaluator and a SEIT (Special Education Itinerant Teacher). I love working with children, families and schools and helping to understand their individual needs and interests.
In 2022, I left the classroom and started CreativeMe. Creative arts have always been a part of my life, spanning across my personal practice and my work with young children and families. As a social worker, I incorporated art in play therapy sessions and in support groups with parents. I also presented professional development seminars for teachers about incorporating process-art into their classrooms to support social and emotional growth. More recently, I developed and facilitated the early childhood art program at an independent school for children with learning differences. The program helped children develop integral skills through art explorations.
I bring my quest for creativity to every service that I offer -- whether its an art class for children. helping a teacher work through a challenging behavior in the classroom. I I believe in the power of creativity to help children and adults to express themselves, connect, explore, discover, experiment, develop and most importantly have fun. I feel lucky that I get to be a small part of the journey!
